About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Radiology Manager to lead our radiology  services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational  leadership of the Diagnostic Imaging Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality,  patient-centred care in line with regulatory standards and business objectives.


You will oversee a multidisciplinary team including radiographers, sonographers, and  administrative staff, and ensure all diagnostic services such as MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-ray, and  any new Radiology services we implement, are run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with  CQC and IR(ME)R regulations.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • HCPC-registered Radiographer or equivalent qualification.

  • BSc in Radiography (or equivalent); postgraduate qualifications desirable. • Substantial experience in leading diagnostic imaging within an acute care or private hospital setting.

  • Experience improving services, implementing change and developing new ways of working with significant impact on KPIs and patient flow.

  • Proven leadership and team management experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of radiology regulations including IR(ME)R 2017 and CQC standards.

  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and IT skills.

  • Experience in budget management and strategic planning.

  • Proven quality assurance and service development experience.


Desirable:

  • Experience in private healthcare or independent sector treatment centre

  • Knowledge of PACS/RIS systems and digital imaging workflows.

  • MSc in Radiology Leadership or Healthcare Management.
